Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A celebrity who has strayed from the world of country music to pop culture, turning into a pop icon that will be around forever, and will conquer all of the world. Swift shed country like it was another layer, showing that she's perhaps the best pop-singer/songwriter in her generation. A person who has the ability to tap into the current zeitgeist and make it personal, and sing in the other direction. Swift's early hits, especially their neo celebration of Tim McGraw, showed off the talents of her. The album from 2008 Fearless showed a singer-songwriter who was discovering herself and was able to draw a wide audience. Fearless was a huge success worldwide and not just in the United States (where it received with six platinum awards for Top Ten Hits Love Story and "You Belong with Me") as well as in Canada Australia and the U.K. and other countries. The Swift's Speak Now album released two years ago, consolidated her prior popularity and launched the singer into superstardom. She grew in popularity throughout her three subsequent albums - Red (2012) 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017). Swift was now firmly established within the genre she was a part of. The popularity of her music grew after she changed her strategy in 2020's more streamlined siblings folklore (and Evermore) and stayed atop of the pop world.
