Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor, director producer and vocalist. Lucy Liu is a beautiful and smart actress. Many Asian actors who want to become famous stars in Hollywood admire Lucy Liu. After several appearances on popular television series her name was a household name after being cast in the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. The fame she gained from the show was translated into films roles like Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. Then she gave a stunning performance as Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii as QT's Kill Bill Volume 1. In the same period she was also in box-office flops like Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started voicing characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen parts, did not achieve much success. Southland's critically acclaimed police series, Southland and a recurring performance helped Liu to reestablish herself as an established actress. Liu has a lot of care when choosing her roles to ensure she's not a typecast. She has acknowledged her Chinese heritage, however she has not let them restrict her creativity.
