Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her breakthrough role was in Miss Bala (2011), the Mexican crime drama film. The film also featured her in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). On TV, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both shows. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico, to an Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. Through her father Sigman is the daughter of a U.S. citizen. Her brother who is a the baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was once engaged to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career in the field of Mexican television, before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. In 2011, she played the leading role of Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime-drama film Miss Bala.
