
Ky-mani's Marley, who's nearing completion of his untitled third album, is certainly a major star. Ky-mani Marley was born Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend as well as Jamaican champion of table tennis, Anita Belnavis. Ky-mani comes from an East African term meaning adventurous travelers, and as a man living in the spirit of his name Every album or journey has been an adventure. The journey of his musical career began in 1999 , with The Journey. His wide-ranging perspective allowed Ky-Mani to discover his niche and explore his many talents. Many More Roads, a classic reggae album which received a Grammy nomination in 2001 showcased a more mature Ky-Mani. Many More Roads and The Journey have been well received across the world. This established Ky-mani's standing as an independent musician. Ky-Mani blends roots reggae, hip-hop R&B along with contemporary jazz and hip-hop to create his sound.
