Seasons 1-8 are when shippers place bids for two shipments through Uship in a reverse auction format. Bids are usually made with remarks about the potential risk and cost and the reasons and skills. If the deadline is reached for an auction the job will be given to the bidder who has the lowest bid. It is at the discretion of the client however, the job could be given to bidders with a higher average feedback rating over previous customers. To break any ties feedback ratings are used. In season 9, the shippers are given their loads by a shipping broker, and the bidding process isn't shown.Winners load their cargo and attempt to complete the delivery within the receiver's or client's deadline. The feedback ratings of clients are shown after the goods have been delivered. The show concludes with each shipper's revenue and expenses. subtracted from the bid amount to calculate the overall profit or loss. Sometimes, a shipper may arrange to transport one or more additional loads on the same trip, with the extra money figured into their tally. In certain instances the shipper may be incapable of completing a task due to concerns over the size/weight of the load or road safety. Sometimes, one shipper will enlist the services of another to help complete the job. The two shippers then decide between themselves which way to divide the profits. Seasons 1-8 are filled with funny criticisms by the other shippers.
